I don't know about anyone else, but life seems to be very busy right now (trackmeets, t-ball, baseball, programs, brandings etc) :) I ran across this poem from a Bible Study we did a few years ago. It helps put things into perspective. :)
A Mother's Prayer
Dear Lord, it's such a hectic day.
With little time to stop and pray.
For life's been anyting but calm,
Since You called me to be a mom......
Running errands, matching socks,
Building dreams with matching blocks.
Cooking, cleaning and finding shoes,
And all those things that young ones lose.
Fitting lids on bottled bugs,
Wiping tears and giving hugs.
A stack of last week's mail to read-
So where's the quiet time I need?
Yet as I go to bed each night,
My heart is filled with true love's light
As I take one last peek, I see
This treasure you have given me-
God's own sweet blessing sleeping there,
The answer to a Mother's Prayer.

Hi, I just spent some time catching up on you guys. I love the poem and had to laugh about the pile of last week's mail. I am sitting here staring at a mound of it right now. However it might be more like 2 weeks of mail. Oh well! Your boys are adorable and so full of life and happiness. I love to see all of the pictures of them. Isn't it crazy how a cat can find that "perfect" spot to have some babies. We have a story pretty similar. Hope your summer goes great and lets try to get together sometime.
