On the Mend -- I Think :)

Yesterday I still wasn't too sure about Jacob. He only ate 5 bites of a muffin all day! He was really pale and fussy. Well when he woke up this morning he ate a piece of toast and drank quite a bit of pedialite. His cough isn't as bad, but he is still pretty fussy. As of last night I was thinking I would be taking him back to the dr today, but I think he doing well enough we will stay home and rest! :) Thanks for all of your prayer!

Sick Boy!

We would appreciate your prayers! Jacob caught a cold last Wednesday and has not been himself. Horrible coughing, diarrhea, some vomiting, ear ach, sleepless nights, etc. I decided to take him to the pediatrician in NP (on HORRIBLE roads) expecting to get some antibiotic for ear infection. Well, Dr. Shepherd listened to Jacob's lungs and sent us to the hospital for a chest x-ray. He has bronchitis or bronchial pneumonia! We headed back to the dr office to get an antibiotic shot. I'm supposed to call the office tomorrow to let them know how he is doing.

POST OVERLOAD

Sorry about the overload!!! Hope you enjoy all the picts!!

Jacob's 1st Hair Cut

This actually made me a little sad. His hair we getting so long in the back it was flipping out. I would play with it and run my fingers through it. There's nothing like the feel of soft baby hair! :) Anyway my little baby is growing up!!!!

Christmas With the Walker Family

On New Year's Eve we went to NP to spend time with Tony's family. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and that night we had a "White Elephant" party which was a blast! After that we took family picts. My battery died when we got ready to do the whole Walker Family. :(

Christmas on the 27th

On the 27th we headed to Anita's house to have Christmas there.

Jacob ate chalk. His tongue was COATED! YUK
One of his preferred ways to travel. (Walking is NOT one of them yet. :) )

Faith's infamous look

The grandkids (minus Hannah -- Laura had to work so couldn't make it)

My Grandma and me

More stockings that my mom made (Anita's will be the teddy bear)

Jacob's Birthday Party

This was CRAZY!!! His birthday is on Dec 12th. We were going to have it on the Sunday the 14th so everyone could make it. The weather that day was HORRIBLE -- -40degree windchill. So we postponed it for the 21st. Well we decided we would be getting together three or four days later for Christmas, so we would just wait until then. That didn't work out becuase Faith was sick. So when we went to mom and dad's Christmas Day I took the b-day stuff and we just did it there! He was so tired and not too thrilled, but said "Mmmmmm" when he got a bite of cake!

Christmas Day

We were supposed to go to Anita's for Christmas, but Faith ended up running a fever. So we opened presents at home and on the spur of the moment decided to go to my mom and dad's. Chris, Laura, Hannah and Grandma Lou came too. I wanted a sweet pict of Jacob sitting on the presents in front of the tree..........I got TONS of Hannah!

Christmas Eve

We attended Christmas Eve Sevice at our church where Tony and I sang "How Many Kings" (one of our FAVORITES!!!) Then we went to my cousin's house. There were 10 adults and 5 kids. We ate our traditional Norwegean meal. Lefsa. Yummy!! The kids had fun tracking Santa on the computer and Jacob loved chasing the cat around!

Koby's Tent

Uncle Chris and Aunt Laura got Koby a tent and sleeping bag for his birthday. We had to set it up as soon as we got home. The boys tried sleeping in it together, but there was a little too much chatter at 9:30. I told them they either needed to be quiet or go get in their beds. They looked at each other and said, "We'll get in our beds. Maybe we should try this another night." :)
