Brendon lost his first tooth at school last Friday. He brought it home in a little treasure chest. I was in NP for a dr appt, so when I got home he was all ecxited to show me. After he brought it out for me to see I told him he needed to brush his teeth. Well.....he set his tooth on the side of the sink and it fell down the drain. He started crying of course so I told him we could write a note to the Tooth Fairy and tell her what happened. The next thing we knew, Tony had taken the pipe on the sink off and found Brendon's tooth. :) He lost his second tooth the following evening and was very excited to get a visit from the Tooth Fairy again. When we put the kids to bed we teased Brendon that the Tooth Fairy probably wasn't going to come two nights in a row and that maybe we should put his tooth under dad's pillow. He didn't like that idea. The next morning I was feeding Jacob and realized the Tooth Fairy FORGOT to come. Brendon woke up and found his tooth under his pillow. He looked at me and said "You were right mom." I felt horrible. Anyway, she was able to sneak in his room and leave her little surprise.
Jacob's first tooth came in 1 1/2mo ago and a second one is breaking through. He was pretty fussy through the whole ordeal.

I loved reading this! I will remember what not to do when Kendra's teeth start falling out! Ha! :) And, I LOVE the picture of Jacob. SO CUTE!
How funny!!! I can totally see how the Toothfairy might forget to come. Specially after 2 nights in a row. What a good Daddy to take the pipes apart to find the lost tooth.
love to feel those baby teeth scraping mydick while he sucks it
