Golf Tournament

Koby and Brendon were in their first tournament today. There were six kids in their age bracket. They had A LOT of fun and both did really well. Brendon received a medal for third place. (By his pict you can tell he is excited!) Koby got 1st place. He got a tropy and then he had longest drive and got his cool blue hat! (The pict of Koby with his tongue out is funny. He was so excited and shocked to get the trophy -- I happened to take the picture just as he looked at me like that.) Fun day!!

First Day of School

I drove the boys to town this morning. Brendon was ok until we got to the school, then he got pretty nervous. He had a lot of fun though. After school they walked to my grandma's house with some girl's from church. They are growing up way too fast!!

Weekend B-day Trip

We went to NP this last weekend and stayed at Holiday Inn Express to celebrate Tony's b-day and have one last outing before school. The boys had a BLAST swimming. They are finally dunking their heads and jumping in! HUGE improvement. It was 108 on Saturday, so swimming inside was great! Sunday morning we went to Cody Go Carts. When we got out of the car and Koby said, "This is dad's BEST birthday ever!!" We put-put golfed, drove bumper boats and go carts. Brendon was excited because he was tall enough to drive a bumper boat and Koby could drive a go cart. Thanks for a fun weekend Daddy!!! We love you!!

PIG WRESTLING

Our fair was last week. Friday evening the boy's basketball coach had a fundraiser for the basketball teams. The idea: Catch your pig and put it in a barrel, butt first. Fastest time wins. Tony's team led until the last group. They ended up getting 2nd. Tony had the only serious injury. When he dove for the pig he cut his eyebrow open on the hog panel. It bled A LOT, but didn't need stitches. It's still swollen and sore. He had fun though and said he would do it again! Koby was in the kid group, but wasn't too fond of the pigs and mud. I think he liked it a litte though.

Brendon's 6th B-day

We celebrated Brendon's birthday 1 day early. We also celebrated Faith's 1st b-day!! We opened gifts and had a sandwich and cupcakes before we went golfing!

JULY

WOW! I can't believe it's been over a month since I last posted picts. July was definately a crazy one. We went to Hastings to visit Tony's family. (I don't have many picts...I lost my camera bag with my battery charger in it, and of course while we were there my battery ran down.) The day after we got home from Hastings my computer was hit by lightning, so I spent the next week back and forth from here to North Platte taking my computer in to be looked at and then going and getting my new one. They were able to save most everything, but I did lose some emails. After that we celebrated Brendon's 6th b-day!! Then we had VBS for a week. Needless to say July flew by and school will be starting way too soon!!!!
