I should have posted this last week, but didn't take the time. This family is in need of prayer. A couple weeks ago this little boy started having liver failure. He was in the Alliance Hospital, then flown to Denver and then from Denver to UNMC in Omaha. He was a VERY sick little boy. You can read his story on his Caring Bridge site. http://caringbridge.com/visit/vonndubs After a transplant he is on the road to recovery.
Koby and Brendon went to preschool with him in Hyannis -- he is Koby's age. The outpouring from the local communities has been awesome! I LOVE small town Nebraska life!! (Vonn is in the maroon shirt.)

My Sweet Boys
Koby and Brendon are always bringing flowers to me. These roses, lilacs, dandelions :-). They are both very thoughtful. I put them in a bowl my grandma gave me for Christmas. It belonged to my Great-Great-Grandma.

Jacob's First Babysitter
I am a sub on the golf league in town so I took Jacob to a friend's house for his first babysitting experience. It was an interesting one to say the least!!! I fed him before I left to golf and Cassidy had to give him some cereal to hold him over. While we were golfing the clouds started looking nasty. After five holes the lightening made us quit. We were going to wait for the storm to pass and go back out to finish our round. Well, there were reports of a tornado outside of town so I high-tailed it back into Mullen and got Jacob from the sitter and went to my grandparents' house to wait the storm out. The tornado went south of town thankfully. Anyway, it was quite a first time babysitting experience!
