Jacob loves toads and mommy thinks they are gross. I'll say, "That's nice. Put them down or they will pee on you." Well one day Jacob came inside to show me his toad so I said my little sentence. Jacob said, "I go put him in toilet...he go pee." So I chased him down the hallway and escorted him outside. :)

Trip to Rapid
Wendy Schwartz, Wendy Irving Scheenen and me. These two girls were my best friends in college. We lost touch with each other after Tony and I moved to Hayes Center. Wendy Scheenen's mom passed away a few months ago, so I decided to go to the funeral in Chadron. After that Wendy and I have been to each other's house, call on the phone and chat on Face Book. After we were on Face Book we "found" Wendy Schwartz!! She lives in Wyoming so we planned a day trip to meet in Rapid. It was so much fun to re-connect with my Wendys. :)

Brendon Got Braces!!
His mouth is so tiny and his permanent teeth were starting to cause a crossbite, so he got braces at the age of 7 1/2!! Crazy I know!!
Lookin' Cool
All Done (the "coils" help spread teeth to make more room)

Lefse Making
We have a traditional Norwegian meal for Christmas called lefse. We take mashed potatoes and flour, form a ball and then roll them out flat like a tortillia and then brown them on a griddle. On Christmas Eve we put more mashed potatoes on top with either roast or fish and pour browned butter on it. They are yummy and VERY filling! The guys in the family have contests on how many they can eat.
My mom, her brother Chuck, his daughter Jennifer and I got together at Jennifer's house to make lefse last Saturday. Mom and Uncle Chuck had made lefse a time or two, but it was a first for Jennifer and me!! Grandma Beth made it out to give a little advice!! :) Chris, Laura and girls were able to make it a little later too. It was lots of fun and hope to make it a new tradition.
